Diva Riot January Events

Saturday January 10th – 4th Annual Cowgirl Ball! Cowgirl night for Queer women and friends! Our biggest dance of the year!! At the VFW Dance Hall on Lyndale Avenue in Uptown at Lake Street. Lots of free parking.
7-8pm Dance lessons – beginner two step and line dance. Beginners welcome, no partner needed. 8-12:30 open dance. Two Step, Waltz, Line Dance.
$7 cover, 21 and over, beginners welcome!

Saturday January 17th – Diva Riot Drag King Competition and Go-Go dancer competition. Compete for the title of Diva Riot Drag King Midwest 2009 and Diva Riot Drag King Twin Cities 2009. And Go-Go Dancer competition. Compete for the title of Diva Riot Go-Go Dancer Midwest 2009! Celebrity judges! Also a performance by Esme Rodriguez!
Over $300 in prizes and gifts! 7:30-9:30pm.
21 and over, $7 cover, after the cabaret there will be a house DJ until bar close!
Rumours-Innuendo, St Paul, 7:30-9:30, then a house DJ until bar close!

8-9:30 Diva Riot Cabaret- Burlesque, Music, Comedy and Drag. Esme Rodriguez, the beloved Katie Rocket, and others! Also the 4th Annual Women’s Arm Wrestling Competition. Ladies – compete for the title of Ms. Strong Arm Minnesota. Send us an email if you would like to compete!
9:30-12:30 Dance Party – DJ Carla Funkbuffet spinning – top 40, Hip Hop, old school and club mixes!! $7 cover, 21 and over.
