From Ann Freeman: Brandon Lacy Campos now a regular contributor on BlackPower.com!
Below is a note from Brandon Lacy Campos about his new gig as a regular contributor to BlackPower.com. We all already know how talented he is, but now more of the world will know! Congrats, Brandon!
Hey Folks:
I received an email today letting me know that from now on I will be a regular contributor at www.BlackPower.com. Thank you all who have been reading my articles. BlackPower has a broad range of articles on everything from the fashion of the first lady to sports news to political commentary. The views range from the conservative to the radical, and it represents a smart, sassy, look at a cross section of the black community.
Stay tuned for my next piece which will be an interview with Kenyon Farrow, editor of Letters from a Young Activist, he is a fellow at the Policy Insitute of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, and is the National Public Education Director of Queers For Economic Justice. On top of that, Out Magazine, in their latest issue, named Miss Kenyon as one of America\’s Out 100. This will be my second interview with Kenyon! The interview should be out next week!
Much Love,
Brandon
PS If there are folks that you think should be added to this announcement list (even if they are not on Facebook!) please let me know and help me build my information distribution list. One of my goals over the next year is to build my base with an eye to transitioning to writing full time (with our new t-shirt business as a base of income). So your help in helping an artist be a full time artist is much appreciated!
PPS As always, check out myfeetonlywalkforward.blogspot.com for emotional vomit, more information on my love life than you probably need, and a good excuse for procrastinating at work.
